If you are viewing your own personal information, The information will all appear in input boxes so that you can edit it. You can change it, or leave it blank. After you make your changes, however, be sure to click on the ``Submit changes'' button. Otherwise Backtalk will not record your edits.
Note that changing your full name here will not change your full name in all your conferences. You have to change it separately in each conference, using the box on the conference home page. The name you set here will become your default alias in any new conferences you join, however.
There is a button that you can click that will prevent other users from seeing the information you enter here, while still allowing the system administrators to access it. It is usually a good idea to make some information available to the system administrators, in case there are problems with your account.
You can click on ``View this page as others will see it'' if you want to see how your information will appear to other users. If you have blocked access to your personal information, this shouldn't show anything.
If you are viewing your own page, there are also some additional buttonsat the bottom of the page. The ``set options'' button sends you to the option setting page where you can change things like whether pistachio uses frames or the maximum number of responses displayed per page. There is a ``change password'' button that lets you change the password for your Backtalk account, and a ``delete'' button that lets you delete your Backtalk account (obviously the latter is not to be used lightly).
